The man known as Don Vito on MTV’s “Viva La Bam” show has been sentenced to 10 years to life on probation after he was convicted on two counts of sexual assault on a child.
Vincent Margera, 51, of West Chester, Pa., was also ordered Thursday not to appear as the Don Vito character for 10 years. His defense attorney had argued that Margera had taken on Don Vito’s outrageous and profane character at the time of the incident.

Howard Stern reported that Letterman’s people called to say they were in negotiations with the writer’s guild to return to filming the show, and they want Howard to be the first guest when they return. Howard said Scott Greenstein has been very adept at “nudging” him toward doing the spot, but Howard claimed he didn’t really have much to say – other than promoting the “History of Howard Stern” holiday special – so he wasn’t sure if he’d end up doing it.

Futurama was killed, but like some B-movie cyborg it refused to stay dead. The fans watched the 72 episodes religiously in syndication and shelled out $170 to get the entire run on DVD. So, in 2005, Fox green-lighted 16 new episodes. Cohen and Groening have reassembled many of the hundreds of writers, animators, and voice artists who’d gone on to other projects to create four DVDs of new material, including sexy robot stage shows. The first DVD hits stores on November 27, and the features will then be divided into half-hour episodes when the entire run of the series begins airing on Comedy Central next year.

The judge overseeing the wrongful-death lawsuit filed by the Notorious B.I.G.’s estate will allow the family to name a few more defendants in their suit. The added names include members of the LAPD and, not surprisingly, then-Death Row CEO Suge Knight.

There’s another controversy swirling around Linda and Paul Hogan. Documents posted on the website TMZ show Linda, whose real name is Linda Bollea has filed for divorce from her husband, Terry Bollea.
The documents were filed in Pinellas County Civil Court on November twentieth.
